λ DNA Marker, HindIII digest
DESCRIPTION
λ DNA Marker, HindIII digest consists of 7 fragments ranging in size from 564 to 23130 bp.
Their asymmetric distibution makes determination of molecular weight easier.
Two fragments (4361 bp and 23130 bp) containing the cos sites of bacteriophage lambda may hybridise to each other resulting in an additional band at 24756 bp. This can be avoided by heating the marker to 80°C for 15 minutes and cooling it on ice.
STORAGE TEMPERATURE
Store at +4°C to -20°C
The marker is ready to use. Load 10µl in one lane.
To demonstrate the mobility of the DNA fragments, 1µg of marker was loaded into a 1% agarose gel.
GC-015-008
100 µg in 1 ml (100rxns) loading buffer (0.25% bromphenol blue, 0.25% xylene cyanol FF, 40% sucrose in water).
